Project Manager Decommissioning Projects Location: Capenhurst Company: Urenco Nuclear Stewardship Department: Decommissioning ProjectsAbout the Role Urenco Nuclear Stewardship is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of small to medium-sized decommissioning, demolition, installation and refurbishment projects, typically ranging from £0.5M to £50M. You will manage the full project lifecycle in a regulated nuclear environment, ensuring projects are executed safely, compliantly, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities Manage projects through all lifecycle phases: initiation, design, execution, commissioning, handover, and close-out. Lead design and construction activities, ensuring delivery of all project deliverables. Oversee project interfaces, risk reviews, HAZCONs, and HAZIDs. Manage and coordinate the supply chain to ensure contractual deliverables are achieved safely and on schedule. Plan and manage commissioning activities for new plant and equipment. Develop and maintain key project documentation, including Project Management Plans, CDM documentation, Construction Phase Plans, and Highlight Reports. Ensure compliance with site licence, safety, environmental, and security requirements. Identify and mitigate project risks, develop cost estimates and schedules, and manage project funding and change control.
