Project Manager - MOD FM and construction
Location: RAF Base near Brackley (site based full time)
Salary: Up to -50000 + car / car allowance

The Opportunity
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects across a large and complex defence estate. You will take ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for identifying and managing project risks throughout the life cycle while ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental and statutory regulations.
Working closely with stakeholders, site teams and customer representatives, you will agree project priorities, scope and delivery timescales, ensuring all project documentation is completed accurately and maintained on relevant systems and platforms.
You will lead and coordinate supply chain partners, ensuring suitably qualified and experienced resources are deployed to deliver works safely and effectively. This includes reviewing risk assessments and method statements, supporting contract risk management, and resolving customer issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Financial and stakeholder management will form a key part of the role.
You will set and manage project budgets, oversee work plans, drive commercial value, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
You will also champion continuous improvement initiatives and proactively manage performance across your portfolio.
What You''ll Bring To be successful in this role
You will have proven experience managing and supervising teams within a project delivery environment.
You will have a track record of leading operational teams, managing site activities, prioritising workloads, solving problems, and implementing safe systems of work.
You will possess strong knowledge of: project planning and delivery, cost control and budget management, stakeholder engagement, health, safety and environmental compliance. contract and risk management.
Qualifications & Experience
HNC/HND in Building, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
SMSTS or equivalent
Recognised Health & Safety qualification
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint and CAFM systems
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance
Desirable
Membership of a recognised professional body such as APM, RICS or CIOB
Qualifications relating to asbestos, legionella or Authorised Person responsibilities
Experience working with CAFM systems and applications
