Overview

Project Manager - Mechanical and Electrical (Leisure Capital Programme - Local Authority)£267 p/day PAYE / £370 p/day Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35). 36 hours per week. 6-month contract (with likely extension).

Responsibilities

Oversee the delivery of mechanical projects within the Leisure Capital Programme.

Provide professional support on the planning, design, and execution of mechanical works across capital improvement projects.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Ensure compliance with statutory and technical standards.

Manage budgets, timelines, and reporting requirements.

Requirements

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering.

Chartered Mechanical Engineer (MIMechE).

Strong project management experience within Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.

Experience delivering capital projects, ideally within public sector or leisure environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
