Project Manager
We are working with a well-established M&E contractor with multiple UK offices. Their North West office has experienced significant growth, with a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects across the region.
They deliver a range of new-build and refurbishment projects, with a particularly strong presence within the healthcare and hospital sectors.
As the business continues to take on projects as Principal Contractor, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager with a construction, civils and/or M&E background to complement their existing expertise.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, consultants and internal M&E teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
Managing projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality.
-
Coordinating construction, civils and M&E works and managing subcontractors.
-
Acting as a key point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders.
-
Monitoring programmes, progress and project risks.
-
Leading project meetings and resolving issues as they arise.
-
Ensuring project documentation, RAMS and health & safety requirements are maintained.
-
Supporting commercial management, including BOQs, measurements, variations and costs.
-
Working closely with site and commercial teams through to successful completion and handover.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of construction project delivery.
Ideally, you will have:
-
Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar.
-
Construction, civils and/or M&E experience.
-
Experience delivering new-build and/or refurbishment projects.
-
Strong subcontractor, programme and stakeholder management skills.
-
Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
-
Good commercial awareness, including BOQs, measurements and variations.
-
Experience within healthcare, hospitals or other complex/live environments would be advantageous.
-
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and take genuine responsibility for project delivery across a varied portfolio of North West projects.
A competitive salary and car allowance are offered, alongside strong opportunities for career progression within an established and technically strong business.
