Project Manager

Our client, a leading organisation in the water infrastructure sector, is seeking a Project Manager to support civil engineering works in Whitehaven. This is an initial six-month contract, with the potential for ongoing work, and the successful individual may also undertake Site Manager responsibilities where required.Key Responsibilities:Managing the delivery of civil engineering projects within the water infrastructure sectorCo-ordinating site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and project teamsOverseeing programme, quality, health and safety requirementsSupporting or undertaking Site Manager duties as requiredMonitoring project progress and addressing operational issues effectivelyEnsuring temporary works are planned, managed and delivered safelyMaintaining accurate project records and communicating updates to relevant stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally within water or utility infrastructureAbility to operate effectively as both a Project Manager and Site ManagerStrong understanding of construction health and safety requirementsValid SMSTS certificationKnowledge of temporary works procedures and managementStrong organisational, communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to co-ordinate multiple activities and maintain project momentumAvailability to start as soon as possibleContract Details:Location: WhitehavenInitial six-month contract with likely ongoing opportunitiesOutside IR35Water infrastructure and civil ..... full job details .....
