The postholder will oversee a portfolio of infrastructure projects, including highways improvements, sustainable travel initiatives, active travel schemes, and traffic management programmes. Key Responsibilities Project & Programme Management Lead the end-to-end delivery of highways and transportation projects from feasibility through to implementation and close-out Develop project scopes, business cases, and delivery plans aligned with strategic transport objectives Manage project budgets, funding streams (including DfT grants), and financial reporting Monitor progress, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies where required Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidance (e.g., Highways Act, Traffic Management Act, CDM Regulatio...
