Project Manager

An established engineering and infrastructure organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Project Manager to support a long-term programme of installation, modernisation and engineering change projects. This position would suit a Project Manager who is comfortable operating within a technically complex environment and enjoys bringing structure, direction and control to projects where processes are still developing.The RoleYou will take ownership of engineering projects from initial planning through to delivery and implementation, ensuring that activities are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required technical standard. The role will involve coordinating engineering teams, suppliers, contractors and operational stakeholders while preparing affected teams for new equipment, systems and ways of working. Key responsibilities will include:Managing engineering change, installation, upgrade and infrastructure projects.Developing project plans, budgets, work breakdown structures and resource requirements.Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and mitigation actions.Coordinating internal engineering teams, external suppliers and specialist contractors.Monitoring progress against agreed milestones, cost, quality and delivery objectives.Managing work packages and ensuring clear ownership across the project team.Supporting commercial activity, supplier negotiations and contract management.Producing clear project reports and providing updates to ..... full job details .....
