We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading engineering organisation delivering complex, high-value technology and manufacturing programmes.
This role is ideal for a project professional with experience managing engineering, manufacturing, defence, aerospace, electronics or technology projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to specification while managing key customer and stakeholder relationships.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple engineering and development projects from initiation through to customer acceptance and delivery.
You will be the key interface between customers, engineering teams, operations, supply chain and senior leadership, ensuring successful execution while maintaining control of scope, cost, schedule, risk and performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of engineering, development and manufacturing projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risk registers and governance documentation.
• Manage customer relationships and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance.
• Drive milestone achievement, contract compliance and successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project performance through KPI reporting, risk management and financial forecasting.
• Manage project reporting including revenue forecasts, EAC, ETC, margin and delivery performance.
• Facilitate design reviews, project reviews and stage-gate governance processes.
• Support customer acceptance testing, delivery planning and contractual obligations.
• Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3+ years'' Project Management experience within an Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defence, Electronics or Technology environment.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, technically challenging projects.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera or equivalent project planning tools.
• Experience managing project costs, schedules, risks and resource planning.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial reporting capability.
• Ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams.
• Experience operating within structured project governance frameworks.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
