Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee joinery and fit-out projects from initial brief through to completion. The role involves managing timelines, budgets, client relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all stages of manufacture and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution
- Act as the main client contact and lead project meetings
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams
- Monitor budgets, costs, and project performance
- Manage variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Oversee production, delivery, and on-site installation
- Ensure quality standards and health & safety compliance (including RAMS)
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular project updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in joinery or fit-out project management
- Strong understanding of bespoke/commercial joinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Desirable
- Experience in high-end residential or commercial projects
- CSCS (Manager level), NVQ Level 6/7, or SMSTS
