Project Manager (joinery / carpentry background )

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee joinery and fit-out projects from initial brief through to completion. The role involves managing timelines, budgets, client relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all stages of manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, and execution
• Act as the main client contact and lead project meetings
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams
• Monitor budgets, costs, and project performance
• Manage variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Oversee production, delivery, and on-site installation
• Ensure quality standards and health & safety compliance (including RAMS)
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular project updates

Requirements

• Proven experience in joinery or fit-out project management
• Strong understanding of bespoke/commercial joinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Desirable

• Experience in high-end residential or commercial projects
• CSCS (Manager level), NVQ Level 6/7, or SMSTS
