Project Manager - Sprinkler Systems / Mechanical PipeworkLocation: Cardiff, South WalesContract: 6 Months (Potential Extension)Rate: Circa 50 per hourWorking Hours: 40 hours per weekWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support a major construction project in Cardiff on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for further opportunities depending on project requirements.This opportunity would ideally suit a Project Manager with a strong background in sprinkler systems and fire protection installations, although candidates with relevant mechanical pipework or building services experience will also be considered.The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating and overseeing project delivery, working closely with site-based supervision, engineering and design teams to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and to the required quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the delivery of sprinkler installation and associated mechanical pipework activities.Oversee project planning, scheduling and coordination of site activities.Work closely with site supervisors, subcontractors, engineering and design teams.Monitor project progress against agreed programmes, budgets and milestones.Coordinate resources, materials and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.Identify and manage project risks, technical challenges and potential delays.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, project specifications ..... full job details .....
