Project Manager Roles and Responsibilities: Define detailed engineering requirements for projects and spare parts requests. Provide updated cost estimates and part numbers to the Sales team. Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Act as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the engineering phase of the project. Verify that designs meet contractual obligations and technical performance standards by conducting initial drawing reviews. Manage project schedules, monitor lead times across departments and suppliers, and proactively address potential delays. Coordinate the preparation of supporting documentation, including drawings, manuals, and packing lists. Organize and lead project review meetings, including taking minutes, issuing actions, and tracking follow-up. Monitor and track project expenditures against the approved budget. Liaise with suppliers to negotiate terms and provide procurement information to the purchasing department. Issue orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the SAP/ERP manufacturing system. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners, including Design, Production, Suppliers, Stores, Despatch, and Freight Forwarders.
