Project Manager
to deliver a large-scale facilities IT and infrastructure programme. This is a 12-month contract with potential extension. Paying up to £750 per day via Umbrella (Inside IR35). 2-3 days per week onsite in Derby with travel to other UK sites as required.
Responsibilities
Lead the deployment of facility IT infrastructure, including networking, end-user devices, back-office systems, and manufacturing equipment.
Oversee the full-scale facility build process, ensuring delivery against operational, technical, and capital investment requirements.
Manage and coordinate a complex supply chain, working closely with suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery and integration.
Ensure secure handling of high-classification data and infrastructure in compliance with ISO and industry regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT systems, manufacturing machinery, and execution platforms into a unified operational solution.
Provide regular reporting, risk management, scheduling, and financial oversight to keep projects on track.
Act as the key point of engagement with stakeholders to secure approvals and manage supplier performance.
Proven track record delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects within manufacturing or engineering environments.
Strong understanding of factory floor operations and industrial IT infrastructure.
Experience managing complex supply chains and large-scale supplier engagements.
Skilled in project disciplines including scope, financial management, scheduling, reporting, and risk management.
Knowledge of ISO regulations and compliance standards.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
Contract: 12 months with potential for extension.
