Project Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced-Project Manager-to deliver a7M JCT Design & Build cladding remediation and fire protection project-in central Cardiff.
Our client is entering a-12-week investigation and design period, with a view to commencing a-two-year construction programme in late 2026.
The scheme comprises two residential blocks within a gated development and will involve the-dismantling of the existing cladding system and installation of new non-combustible cladding, alongside associated fire protection works.
The successful Project Manager will take responsibility for the project from-inception through to client handover, providing strong leadership across the pre-construction and delivery phases.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing the project programme from investigation and design through to completion.
- Managing project budgets, costs, and commercial performance.
- Leading and coordinating the site team, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Managing senior client and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the agreed programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety requirements and project procedures.
- Managing quality, inspections, compliance, and handover requirements.
- Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Coordinating design, procurement, and construction activities.
- Providing clear and regular progress reporting to senior management and the client.
We are looking for an experienced-Project Manager-with a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience delivering-cladding remediation and/or fire protection projects.
- Strong knowledge of-JCT Design & Build contracts.
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- A strong understanding of programming, cost control, quality and H&S.
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to take ownership of a complex project and drive it through to successful completion.
