Project Manager - Heritage Works Location: Penkridge, Staffordshire, with travel to project sites as required Job Type: Permanent We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Heritage Works to join our specialist heritage construction and restoration business. Based from our office in Penkridge, Staffordshire, this is a practical, hands-on role managing heritage, refurbishment and conservation-led projects across the Midlands. Unlike large main-contractor developments, our projects require close attention to detail, careful planning and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality work on historic buildings. Salary £45,000-£50,000 per annum (higher salary may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience), plus the potential for a company vehicle or vehicle allowance and possible performance-related benefits. Key Responsibilities Take day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of small heritage and refurbishment projects. Manage two small works teams, including two Team Leaders and approximately eight employees overall. Plan and sequence projects, typically valued at around £40,000. Turn agreed scopes of work into practical and achievable site delivery plans. Ensure labour, materials, subcontractors and site access arrangements are in place. Monitor project progress, quality, safety and costs against agreed expectations. Maintain accurate site records, photographs, task updates and progress reports.
