Project Manager

Project Manager Required in Essex GVR Solutions are currently working with a well-established building and refurbishment contractor who are seeking a Trainee Project Manager to join their team. As a main contractor, they deliver a varied range of projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, heritage and public sectors, with schemes ranging from smaller refurbishment works through to larger construction projects. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take full responsibility for a range of live construction projects from start to finish, whilst liaising with the client and managing the subcontractors to drive the project forward. Key Responsibilities: Establish project programmes from the outset, monitor key milestones and take action to address any delays or potential risks. Oversee the day-to-day delivery of allocated schemes, coordinating site staff, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants. Organise materials, plant and subcontract packages, ensuring orders are placed in good time to meet project requirements. Coordinate the various trades on site, managing the order of works and ensuring subcontractors deliver to the required standards and timescales. Keep track of project expenditure and forecasts, overseeing valuations, variations, orders, subcontractor payments and invoicing.
