Project Manager - Global Equities Operations Transformation

As a Project Manager within Global Equities Operations Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution. Your work will have a significant impact on various departments, ensuring alignment of operations with our business strategy and vision. You will apply your broad knowledge of project management principles and practices, leveraging your skills in data analytics, digital proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive success.

Job responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional projects, utilizing your skills in data analytics and digital proficiency to deliver results aligned with business strategyDevelop and manage integrated project plans, ensuring appropriate resources are assigned and milestones are met, while regularly communicating progress to stakeholdersUtilize your skills in conflict management and team building to foster a collaborative environment, resolving issues and risks that may arise during project executionApply your strategic thinking skills to identify potential scenarios, evaluate their impact and risk, and make informed decisions that directly affect departmental outcomesEnsure all projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control, and other relevant firm-wide guidelines, maintaining our control environmentDrive the initiatives forward, provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resourcesDelivering Executive updates and summariesEffective issue escalation management

Required qualifications, capabilities and skillsProject Management and Program Management experience requiredStrong people skills, with ability to build relationships with all types of stakeholders, at all levels across all business areasSelf-starter, pro-active, organized, with a keen eye for detail and have the ability to work independentlyDemonstrated success in delivering initiatives on time through strong planning, processing, analytical, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)Confident and assertive with the ability to push back when necessaryInitiative - taking the lead in unstructured situations, including seizing new opportunitiesFlexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks with tight time frames and limited supervisionAccountability and responsibility for own actionsProficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, JIRA

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsPrevious experience in delivering projects within the financial sectorKnowledge of future and derivatives clearingPossible requirement to work weekends on implementations or migrations (Flexible working arrangements can be discussed)
