      <description>Location: Kilmarnock | Salary: 450.00-450.00 Daily | Type: Contract | Force Contracting Services are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Kilmarnock. The project is due to commence in mid-September 2026 and is expected to run for approximately 2 years, with the overall works valued at circa £15m. The successful candidate will have a strong civil engineering background, relevant experience working on BESS sites, and be able to manage a project of this scale.  Scope of Works:  Enabling works Site preparation Earthworks Drainage Access roads Hardstanding Equipment foundations Fencing foundations Ducting and trenching Reinstatement All associated civil works required to provide a complete and operational BESS site   Responsibilities:  Overall responsibility for project delivery from mobilisation through to completion. Lead and manage the project delivery team. Manage Site Managers, Site Engineers, General Foremen and subcontractors. Develop and manage the construction programme. Monitor progress, costs, quality and performance. Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships. Coordinate the supply chain and subcontractors.
