Project Manager

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a specialist heritage construction and restoration business with the recruitment of a Project Manager - Heritage Works.Permanent position. This role will be based in Penkridge, Staffordshire, with travel to project sites as required.This is a practical, hands-on position within a small specialist contractor, managing heritage, refurbishment and conservation-led projects rather than large main-contractor developments.Salary£45,000-£50,000 (Higher salary can be discussed dependent on suitable experience), depending on experience + potential vehicle or vehicle allowance + possible performance-related benefitsKey ResponsibilitiesTake day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of small heritage and refurbishment projects.Manage two small works teams, including two Team Leaders and approximately eight employees overall.Plan and sequence projects, typically valued at around £40,000.Turn agreed scopes of work into practical and achievable site delivery plans.Ensure labour, materials, subcontractors and site access arrangements are in place.Monitor project progress, quality, safety and costs against agreed expectations.Maintain accurate site records, photographs, task updates and progress reports.Ensure RAMS, task instructions and site-control procedures are followed.Identify potential issues early and escalate significant concerns to the Managing Director.Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, suppliers and other ..... full job details .....
