We have a great opportunity for a Project Manager, working with a fit out contractor who specialise in the education sector, based out of the Hemel area with site in and around Hemel and also central London.This contractor pride themselves on being heavy research / design focused allowing them to deliver innovative and productive education spaces focused on student satisfaction and performance.The ideal candidate will be a Project Manager who ca visit project, tender the project, liaise with all client representatives and deliver the project. You must be quite an expert in the DandB process due to the business being heavily designed focused.The projects tend to be sub 1million and you will be looking after 2-3 projects during busy periods.As the project manager you will be both site and office based spearheading the delivery of the project whilst monitoring the programme.The projects will involve dealing with high private education clients that the company has worked with multiple times so client relationship building is key.The ideal Project Manager must have:Commercial / Education fit out experienceLongevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industryMajor experience in working alongside the design teamUnderstanding of programmes and ability to handle programming software competentlyExperience successfully running fit out projects as a Project Manager on commercial / education projectsInterpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the teamWhat''s in it ..... full job details .....
