Project Manager

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering major industrial construction projects for a Tier 1 principal contractor?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex, high-value industrial developments across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an exceptional Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship large-scale industrial and steel frame project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the industry''s most respected contractors, working on technically challenging schemes from pre-construction through to handover.

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a major industrial development, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead the site management team, coordinate specialist subcontractors, manage client relationships, and drive performance across all phases of construction.

• Lead the delivery of large-scale industrial and logistics developments.
• Manage complex steel frame construction packages from groundworks through to completion.
• Oversee significant earthworks and heavy civil engineering packages.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
• Manage subcontractor performance, commercial awareness and project risk.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Lead site teams, mentor engineers and managers, and promote a high-performance culture.
• Ensure quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

To be considered, you must have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager working for a Tier 1 Principal Contractor.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale industrial, warehouse, logistics, distribution centre, retail or steel frame projects.
• Strong knowledge of complex steel frame construction.
• Demonstrable experience managing major earthworks, enabling works and heavy civil engineering packages.
• Experience delivering technically challenging, high-value projects with multiple workstreams.
• Excellent leadership, planning and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to solve complex construction challenges.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (or equivalent).
