This is a great long term opportunity for a Project Manager, it''s a 15 month scheme kicking off at the beginning of May so the search has begun.

About the role:

The Project Manager will be the spear head of the production for the scheme reporting to an on site Project Director. The project is a -20m listed refurbishment into an 80bed hotel which was built in the 70s.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites.
• Enforce health & safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to keep the project on track.
• Maintain quality standards by monitoring workmanship, materials, and adherence to specifications.
• When challenges arise, you will find solutions to keep the project moving forward.
• Effectively communicate by liaising with team members, report progress, and address concerns.

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering large-scale refurbishment projects (-10m+)
• Strong track record managing contractors, programme, and budget
• Experience working in live environments
• Confident, hands-on site-based PMs
• Familiarity with MS Project or similar
• Listed building experience beneficial but not essential
• SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs
