Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a new build housing development in Oxford, overseeing the successful delivery of a major residential construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking for a minimum 12-month contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day delivery of the development, ensuring the project is completed safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the project from construction through to completion
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Monitoring programme, progress and key project milestones
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards
• Managing health & safety and ensuring compliance across the development
• Managing project costs and commercial performance
• Attending and leading project meetings
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and external consultants
• Identifying and resolving issues to keep the project on track
• Ensuring the development is delivered to the required specification and programme

About You

We are looking for a proven Project Manager with experience in new build residential construction, ideally with experience delivering housing developments from start through to completion.

You should have:

• Strong project management experience within the construction industry
• Proven experience delivering new build residential/housing projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• A good understanding of construction programmes, quality and health & safety
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively
• A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
