Project Manager

Main contractor seeking experienced Project Manager to manage and successfully deliver a recently won project in Surrey. You will be leading the delivery of a £40M new build care home from inception to handover. This job involves delivery of 112 homes. A trade background is preferred.The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below. Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.Key liaison with Client, ensuring Client is regularly updated.Instruct, coach and direct the project staff with respect to construction, contractual and regulatory requirements.Effective management and co-ordination of subcontractors and ensure all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest standards.Manage day to day operational duties.Continually improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.Develop and deliver progress reports, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas.Build, grow and develop business relationships for the success of the projectProvide feedback and record information from the project for ‘lessons learnt seminars’ and for continuous staff development.Qualifications and ExperienceQualification in a trade, construction, or site managementMinimum 5 years’ experience in Project Manager role with main contractorSMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card required.Proven track record of successful delivery of large-scale residential projectsStrong commercial awareness and cost control ability with a proven track record in construction planning.Technical competence with the ability to set and track project milestones and deliverables.Extensive experience in leading and directing project teams and effectively managing sub-contractors.Thorough knowledge of health and safety policies and proceduresKnowledge and ability to use MS Office, MS Project/Powerproject etc..If you are well suited to this role, please apply through the link and we will contact you for a confidential discussion. ..... full job details .....
