Project Manager/Contracts Manager/ Site Manager Small Works and Refurbishment Location: Romsey, Hampshire / South Coast Salary: Competitive + Package We are seeking a Contracts Manager or Project Manager to join a growing construction business delivering small works and refurbishment projects valued up to £250,000. The successful candidate will have a strong trade background, ideally within carpentry, drylining or plastering, and experience managing refurbishment and fit-out projects from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple small works and refurbishment projects. Oversee site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Liaise with clients, consultants and end users throughout project delivery. Produce site reports, programmes and project updates. Manage health and safety documentation and site procedures. Typical Projects School classroom refurbishments Educational facility upgrades Internal fit-outs Commercial refurbishment works Maintenance and small works contracts Requirements Previous experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager within refurbishment, fit-out or small works construction. Trade background in Carpentry, Drylining or Plastering preferred. Experience delivering projects up to £250k in value. Strong client-facing and organisational skills.
