About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Engineering to lead and deliver a portfolio of complex technical projects within a fast-paced, innovative aerospace environment.

This permanent, Bedfordshire-based role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact engineering initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring successful delivery across quality, time, and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across a range of engineering programs
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary technical teams to achieve strategic project goals
• Apply best-practice project management methodologies to ensure effective planning and execution
• Develop project documentation including business cases, justifications, risk assessments, and progress reports
• Create work breakdown structures, resourcing plans, and schedules in collaboration with technical managers
• Monitor project progress, address issues, and manage scope changes proactively
• Support proposal and bid development, including estimating and risk management

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or a related technical discipline
• Proven experience leading technical or R&D projects in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques
• Comfortable working in a design and manufacturing setting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align them toward shared objectives
