Project Manager - Engineering

Project Manager Salary: to £55k Permanent: Essex Hybrid working Join a global engineering organisation delivering complex capital equipment projects across critical infrastructure sectors. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects valued at £1m+, managing schedules, budgets, contractual requirements and project performance from handover through to installation, commissioning and completion. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved. Manage project budgets, forecasts and profitability. Act as a focal point for project communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. Coordinate activities across departments to ensure projects are delivered to schedule. Manage project risks, issues, variations and change control. Review contracts, specifications and commercial documentation. Produce project reports and contract cost reviews. Monitor performance against agreed cost, schedule and delivery targets. Support installation, construction and commissioning activities as required. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and company safety standards. Experience Required Delivering complex projects with responsibility for schedules, budgets and project outcomes. Strong project scheduling, planning and programme management expertise.
