Our client is a well-established contractor specialising in demolition works across London and the South East. Due to a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple demolition schemes.
This is a key role offering a mix of site and remote working, ideal for someone confident managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of demolition projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
You will manage multiple stakeholders while overseeing site teams and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing demolition projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Overseeing site teams, subcontractors and programme delivery
- Ensuring health & safety compliance in line with current legislation
- Managing project budgets, reporting and commercial performance
- Liaising with clients, consultants and local authorities
- Coordinating logistics, sequencing and method statements
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Supporting tender and pre-construction activities where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within demolition
- Strong understanding of demolition methodologies and sequencing
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations within demolition
- Ability to work both site-based and remotely
