Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a forward-thinking property and construction consultancy based in Manchester. This role will suit a confident and motivated Project Manager looking to deliver large-scale residential housing projects from inception to completion.

As a Project Manager, you will be working closely with private developers, housing associations and local authorities, managing the delivery of new-build housing schemes across the North West. This is a client-facing Project Manager role where experience as an Employers Agent or working within a consultancy environment will be highly valued.

The Project Manager''s role
You''ll be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of residential housing developments, taking ownership of key client relationships and ensuring delivery against programme, quality, and cost targets. You''ll be expected to lead pre-contract activities, administer JCT contracts, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver schemes ranging from small developments to multi-phase sites.

This Manchester-based Project Manager opportunity offers exposure to a wide variety of residential work, including both traditional and design & build contracts. Flexible working and hybrid options are available subject to discussion.

The Project Manager

• Relevant degree in Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years'' experience as a Project Manager or Employers Agent within a consultancy or client-side environment

• Excellent knowledge of residential construction and housing development process

• Strong contract administration and stakeholder management skills

• MRICS, MAPM or working towards chartership (support available)
