Project Manager

My client are a specialist civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a project manager to help deliver a civils and infrastructure in London. My client deliver projects within the infrastructure, transport, water and civil sectors. The ideal candidate will have solid experience and knowledge of tunnelling and heavy civils.

Project manager responsibilities:-

• Overseeing the day-to-day activities, managing risks, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.-
• Keeping stakeholders informed about project progress, issues, and changes.-
• Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring team members have the necessary skills and resources.-
• Monitoring project expenses and ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.-
• Ensuring project deliverables meet the required standards and quality criteria.-
• Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing issues as they arise.-
• Ensuring all project deliverables are accepted, documenting lessons learned, and formally closing the project.-
• Defining project scope, setting objectives, creating timelines, and allocating resources.-

Project manager requirements:-

• Right to work in the UK.
• NVQ level 6 or equivalent.
• SMSTS.
• First aid.-
• TWS/ TWC - Desirable.
• Proven experience in a project managers role.
• Experience with tunnelling.
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
