CJS Recruitment are looking for an experienced Site Manager or Project Manager to oversee and manage residential extension projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in building extensions, and will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities related to extension projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in construction, with a focus on extensions.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety.
- Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid CSCS card and relevant site management qualifications (SMSTS/SSSTS preferred).
