Project Manager

A highly regarded construction consultancy based in Birmingham city centre, recognised for delivering major commercial and mixed-use construction developments, is seeking a Project Manager to join its growing project management team. This Project Manager role offers the opportunity to deliver significant construction schemes across Birmingham''s rapidly expanding commercial district.

This Project Manager position will see the Project Manager working on major commercial office construction, residential towers and mixed-use developments, typically ranging from -15m to -120m in value. You must have prior construction consultancy experience as a Project Manager to be considered for this role.

The ''Project Manager''s'' role

The Project Manager will manage construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful construction delivery for developer clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as client-side Project Manager across commercial construction developments

• Managing consultant teams including architects, engineers and contractors

• Leading construction progress meetings and coordinating project teams

• Monitoring construction programmes, cost and project risk

• Reporting construction progress to clients and senior stakeholders

• Supporting contractor procurement and appointment

Projects are primarily commercial office developments, residential towers and mixed-use construction schemes across Birmingham city centre.

The ''Project Manager''

The consultancy is seeking a confident Project Manager with strong construction consultancy experience.

Requirements include:

• Experience working as a Project Manager within a construction consultancy

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or similar

• Working towards or holding MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM

• Experience delivering commercial or mixed-use construction projects

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
