This role has arisen due to continued growth, with appointment timing dependent on identifying the right individual.

- Programme: Strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects

- Reporting To: Project Director / Divisional Director
- Responsible For: Project Team
To lead the successful delivery of projects to agreed time, cost, quality, and programme targets, ensuring a high-quality service in line with our client’s standards, systems, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Lead and take full responsibility for project delivery teams
- Deliver projects to time, cost, quality, and profitability targets
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Manage programme strategy, sequencing, and recovery planning
- Identify risks/issues and implement effective solutions
- Lead project meetings and present progress updates
- Oversee design coordination and review technical documentation
- Provide buildability input and value engineering solutions
- Manage project risks and escalate where necessary
- Produce clear and accurate project reports
- Ensure high standards of health & safety compliance
- Promote a quality-driven, zero defects culture
- Recommend and review subcontractors, systems, and materials
- Maintain awareness of project costs and commercial performance
- Contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ construction experience
- Relevant construction or building-related qualification
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and M&E systems
- Experience in heavy civil engineering, cut & carve, or complex refurbishments
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Good commercial awareness and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety compliance
- CSCS Card and First Aid certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Energetic and adaptable
- Strong communicator and relationship builder
- Organised with effective time management
- Solutions-focused with a proactive mindset
- Positive attitude with strong drive
