Position Overview
My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of fit-out, refurbishment, extension, internal demolition, and “cut & carve” projects, predominantly located across the Northwest of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent projects, ranging in value from £50k to £5 million.
- Manage a mix of commercial, residential, and healthcare projects, particularly fit-out, refurbishment, extensions, “cut & carve” work, and internal demolition.
- Oversee all project phases from pre-construction through to completion across the Northwest region.
- Coordinate in-house labour and plant operations to exert cost, schedule, and quality control, ensuring seamless delivery.
- Uphold high standards in Health & Safety, maintaining professionalism, attention to detail, and transparent communication with clients.
- Engage closely with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and sub-contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
- Embed my client’s core values of innovation, integrity, and client-centred delivery into every stage of project delivery.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
- Previous experience working on a diverse range of projects, such as commercial, healthcare, and residential (all 3 not essential).
- Experience on projects ranging from £50k to £5 million.
- Experience working on fit-out, refurbishment, extension, “cut & carve,” and internal demolition works.
- Ability to visit projects within the Northwest of England.
- Strong ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
- Profound understanding of project governance, cost/schedule control, Health & Safety standards, and stakeholder management.
