Our client, a well-established and highly regarded family-run construction and facilities management business based in Basildon, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their close-knit and supportive team.

This role would suit a Project Manager with a strong background in estimating and cost planning within facilities management or construction.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a range of construction and FM projects from inception through to completion. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

A key part of this position will involve estimating, cost control, and supporting tenders, so previous experience in pricing and commercial awareness is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction and facilities management projects end-to-end

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets, and cost plans

• Develop and manage project programmes and resources

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards

• Identify risks and implement effective solutions

About You

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction or facilities management

• Strong background in estimating, pricing, or cost planning

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Competent with Microsoft Office and project management software

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
