As the Project Manager Construction in Oxfordshire, you would be responsible for the Project Management of a variety of projects in the Oxford area from start to finish. The stock includes historic buildings in prestigious areas including refurbishments, facades, windows and roofing amongst other things.
Additional duties for the role of Project Manager Construction in Oxfordshire include:
- Leading projects through all stages to completion
- Overseeing budgets
- Managing contractors and the supply chain
- Acting as the client in a variety of projects
- Delivering clear communication and reporting progress to stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance and liaising with in-house teams
- Driving collaboration across internal and external teams
- Chairing project meetings, leading site inspections, resolving disputes, and fulfilling client duties
The successful candidate for the role of Project Manager Construction in Oxfordshire should have the following experience:
- Previous experience of managing construction, refurbishments and a variety of projects within a corporate / commercial environment
- Strong track record of delivering projects from inception to completion
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, procurement, and regulations
- Skilled communicator and stakeholder manager
- Good IT skills
- Desirable to hold a professional membership such as MAPM, MCIOB, RICS etc.
