Project Manager Construction

Job Description: Overview We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee a variety of projects within the healthcare and education sector based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong technical skills and a proven track record in project management to contribute to strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and strategic priorities. Manage cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to achieve project objectives. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues early and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks. Gather and define project requirements by engaging with stakeholders and translating needs into actionable plans. Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools to develop schedules, track progress, and report on project status. Oversee budget control and cost management activities to ensure financial targets are met.
