Project Manager (Clean Water)

Our client, a leading contractor in the water and utilities sector, is seeking a Project Manager to support a range of Clean Water projects across Yorkshire on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The role will involve managing civil engineering and utility schemes, with projects located across Bradford, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The ideal location is within reasonable travelling distance of Sheffield, which serves as the office base.Key Responsibilities:Managing the delivery of Clean Water projects from planning through to completionOverseeing replacement mains and rehabilitation schemesCo-ordinating service laying, slip lining and pipe bursting worksManaging directional drilling activities and associated civil engineering worksOverseeing transfers, relays and pipe testingCo-ordinating site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholdersMonitoring project progress, quality, health and safety and complianceMaintaining accurate project records and providing progress updatesJob Requirements:Experience managing civil engineering projects within the water or utilities sectorPractical knowledge of Clean Water projects, including mains replacement and rehabilitationUnderstanding of service laying, slip lining, pipe bursting and directional drillingExperience with transfers, relays and pipe testingStrong project management, communication and stakeholder co-ordination skillsAbility to manage contractors, site teams and project resources effectivelyStrong understanding of ..... full job details .....
