Project Manager - Civils / Earthworks

Overview

The ProjectAs an experienced Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various projects for the company in accordance with company objectives and procedures. You will lead the project from inception to completion and ensure that all works are completed to specification, in budget and on time. You will also manage direct labour and any contractors whilst being based on site to ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to. You will work on delivering civils, earthworks, piling, drainage, rail schemes nationwide.Requirements

SMSTSCSCS Gold/Black CardHNC/HND/Degree in a Civil Engineering / Construction related discipline (is ideal)ICE / MICE / CENGExperienced as a Project Manager delivering civils / earthworks schemesThe Role

Job Title: Project ManagerLocation: Leeds / Sheffield - (willing to travel nationwide)Working Setup: 3 Days in the office, 2 Days WFH when not on siteDuties

Involved in the tendering sidePre-contract planning and liaison with estimatorsPlanning, programming, and resourcing contractsIdentifying tender and other financial opportunitiesDelegating duties to engineering and contracts staffIdentifying, evaluating, and managing claims and variationsAccepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontractsCompiling applications for payment and agreeing final accountsProviding quality input to regional management and planning meetingsManaging projects to achieve financial, safety, quality, and environmental targetsCompleting monthly improvement plan reviews with Bid and Pre - construction specialistsMonitor, review, issue and update subcontract liabilities, applications and paymentsAssist with supply chain (suppliers and subcontractor) approvals, assessments, and performance reviewsLiaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, sub-contractors and othersCompiling contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and other instructions to contract teamsFor more information or to apply please contact Alex Hartley (phone number ..... full job details .....
