Remediations Project Manager - West Yorkshire

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in remediation and civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schemes from inception through to completion - ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires a commercially astute individual with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of remediation projects, from planning and design through to delivery, handover, and aftercare.
Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance, ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, embedding best practice across project teams.
Lead, motivate, and manage internal teams and subcontractors to deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality outcomes.
Engage effectively with stakeholders, including clients, regulators, landowners, and local authorities, to build trust and maintain strong working relationships.
Develop and monitor project programmes, identifying risks, opportunities, and implementing mitigation measures.
Oversee the preparation of project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and reports.
Support tendering, bid preparation, and business development activities where required.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery, identifying efficiencies in time, cost, and resources.
Ensure robust record keeping, progress reporting, and compliance with governance processes.

Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience delivering remediation and/or civil engineering projects from cradle to grave.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Commercial awareness with proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health andamp; safety.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
