Our client, a leading environmental contractor, are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of environmental and habitat creation projects, including wetlands, grasslands, and woodlands, from preconstruction through to completion. The role involves ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest environmental and quality standards. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal teams, designers, and external stakeholders to meet regulatory and ecological objectives. Key Responsibilities Preconstruction Phase: Lead project planning, including scope, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management. Collaborate with design teams and consultants to refine plans, assess buildability, and achieve ecological goals. Review and develop method statements, construction phase plans, and risk assessments. Coordinate site investigations, surveys, and environmental assessments. Ensure compliance with regulatory and permitting requirements, including environmental and flood risk activity permits. Support procurement and appointment of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials. Construction Phase: Manage day-to-day delivery on site, ensuring adherence to programme, budget, quality, and health and safety standards.
