Project Manager

Our client is a leading provider of bespoke power generation and standby power solutions across the UK. Due to winning a major new contract, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager with experience in the power generation or diesel generator (genset) industry. This is a primarily office-based role in Northampton with occasional site visits, where business mileage is paid.OverviewManage generator installation projects from order through to completionCoordinate engineering, procurement, production and installation teamsAct as the main point of contact for customersEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to specificationMonitor project costs and progressLiaise with suppliers, subcontractors and commissioning engineersProduce project documentation and reportsSupport commissioning and final project handoverEnsure Health and Safety standards are maintainedOccasional UK site visits when requiredRequirementsProject Management experience within power generation or diesel generatorsGood knowledge of generator installations and standby power systemsStrong organisational and communication skillsExperience managing project budgets and timelinesCommercial awarenessKnowledge of Health and Safety and CDM regulationsFull UK Driving LicenceExperience with Caterpillar, Cummins, Perkins, FG Wilson, MTU, Kohler or similar generators is advantageousPRINCE2, APM or similar qualification desirableSalary and Benefits£40,000 - £45,000 DOE (higher for the right candidate)40-hour ..... full job details .....
