Project Manager

Project Manager Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a global renewable energy and resource recovery business in the appointment of a permanent Project Manager, site based on a major EPC project in the Bristol Area. The business designs, builds and supports anaerobic digestion and waste to resource facilities for municipal, industrial, commercial and agricultural customers worldwide. The Project Manager is the overall project leader, heading a multidisciplinary team across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, and working closely with the Site Manager, the Engineering Manager and the Health and Safety Manager. The role would suit an experienced Project Manager from EPC, water, wastewater, energy or heavy industrial infrastructure who has taken projects from contract award through commissioning and closeout, and who leads from the front on site. Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager Leading the project from contract award through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout. Developing and maintaining the project execution plan, programme, budget, forecasts and resource plans. Administering the contract under NEC4, JCT or FIDIC, and managing change, variations and cost control to protect margin. Managing subcontractor and vendor performance, and coordinating construction activities with the Site Manager.
