Project Manager – Major Residential & Student Accommodation Scheme

West London | £80m New Build

A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a prestigious £80m new build residential and student accommodation development in West London.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project on site, reporting directly to a visiting Project Director. This is a delivery-focused role, well suited to a strong construction-led Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Full project management of the scheme from site start through to practical completion and handover
• Management of site teams, subcontractors and supply chain to ensure programme, quality and safety targets are met
• Driving site progress, sequencing works, and resolving construction issues as they arise
• Chairing and leading site meetings and coordinating with senior management
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with build programme, drawings and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential schemes (private or student accommodation)
• Managed at least two projects from start to finish in a Project Manager capacity
• Strong construction background with demonstrable on-site leadership skills
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale new build schemes
• Able to work under a visiting Project Director with a high degree of autonomy
