Project Lead required to Lead the Design Engineering Team in the creation, delivery and design/redesign of NPI and RandD projects. This role involves leading and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team, providing technical guidance, and supporting the professional development of team members to drive continuous improvement and project success. Providing guidance and ensuring standards are being followed in accordance with the requirements of the business goals, objectives and AS9100 accreditation. Leading the development of new processes, RandD, improvement projects, you will be responsible for specification or the support of design projects (CAPEX). Supporting all stages of the NPI and RandD Projects, you will be actively involved in Design For Manufacture (DFM) input to new products, managing the testing of proto-type and customer deliverable products. Leading projects to improve quality, cost and efficiency, you will drive implementation of LEAN and CI practices across the organisation. You will also lead on DFMEA and capability/repeatability improvement activities.
