Are you a Project Hydrogeologist with some consultancy experience looking for your next move in Newcastle? This role offers a good mix of site investigation, technical assessment and reporting across water, infrastructure, renewables and property projects.

As a Project Hydrogeologist, you will join an established Hydrogeology and Water team, working on projects from initial investigation through to assessment and reporting.

Your role will include:

* Hydrogeological site investigations and borehole supervision
* Geological logging, well installation and hydrogeological testing
* Groundwater and surface water monitoring
* Preparing geological and hydrogeological Conceptual Site Models
* Hydrogeological Risk Assessments and Impact Appraisals
* Supporting EIA water chapters and abstraction licensing work

To be considered, you should have:

* A relevant Hydrogeology, Geology or Earth Sciences degree
* Some commercial hydrogeology experience
* Experience of site investigation, monitoring or hydrogeological assessment
* Strong data interpretation and technical reporting skills
* A full UK driving licence

Experience of hydrogeological calculations or groundwater modelling would be useful but is not essential.

This Project Hydrogeologist position offers -30,000 - -40,000, hybrid and flexible working, support towards chartership, 25 days'' holiday, pension, private medical insurance and discretionary bonus.
