Project GeologistLocation: CambridgeSalary: 30,000 - 35,000An established and growing ground engineering consultancy is looking for a Project Geologist to join its team in Cambridge.This is a great opportunity for a geologist looking to develop their technical experience and take ownership of a range of ground investigation projects, working across both site-based and office-based activities.The RoleManaging and coordinating ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.Undertaking site investigations, including logging soils and rock in accordance with relevant standards.Preparing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.Liaising with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.Reviewing ground investigation data and providing technical recommendations.Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.RequirementsA degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related discipline.Experience in ground investigation and site work.Good understanding of soil and rock logging and geotechnical reporting.Strong communication and organisational skills.Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.Working towards chartership, or an interest in professional development, would be advantageous.What''s on Offer?Competitive salary, dependent on experience.Exposure to a varied portfolio of ground engineering projects.Opportunities for career progression and professional development.Support towards chartership and ..... full job details .....
