We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Project Executive to partner with a business leader driving value creation across a number of businesses. They will bring both structure and agility to a fast-paced environment ensuring priorities are delivered on time, on budget and in alignment with business objectives.The role offers immediate scope for influence, high visibility with senior leadership and the chance to help shape transformation and growth across a dynamic multi business portfolio.Job Purpose:An important role for a highly skilled Project Executive responsible for driving the successful delivery of multiple, high impact projects and programs in collaboration across global functions and diverse businesses. This individual will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organizational goals, executed efficiently, and deliver measurable value.This is a critical role with visibility at the executive level and a direct impact on business performance, innovation and transformation. The position reports to the CEO, Lucy Controls, Lucy Group Ltd.Business Overview:Lucy Group is an international group that makes the built environment sustainable.Our electric businesses advance the transition to a carbon-free world with infrastructure that enables renewable energy and smart cities. Our real estate businesses support sustainable living through responsible property development and investment.Job Context:This opportunity will support a business leader tasked with driving transformation and creating value across multiple companies and business units. As a trusted right hand, the Project Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing key initiatives from day one. This is a high impact opportunity in a live, fast-moving environment where there is both an immediate need and a unique chance to influence outcomes across a broad and dynamic portfolio of businesses and range of activities.Key Accountabilities:Lead the planning of cross functional projects and programs with complex inter-dependencies and multiple stakeholders across a number of different businesses and functionsAssist in aligning project activities with business priorities by working closely with colleagues in operations, sales, product, finance, marketing and HRPartner closely with the business leader and senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiativesDevelop and maintain comprehensive program plans, resource plans, budgets and risk logsPrepare project reports and updates to ensure clear communication, transparency and accountabilityIdentify and resolve issues, remove roadblocks and escalate critical decisions to leadership in a timely mannerSupport continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance project deliveryFoster a collaborative and positive working environment with team members and partnersEngage regularly with stakeholders across the business to build relationships and support effective governance processesEnhancement of our values and brand: Ensuring the business lives the Group’s values, including delivering the highest quality of customer-service across all the products and servicesGovernance and Reporting: Working closely with the leadership team and Group service lines to ensure the Group’s governance and processes are being appropriately followedQualifications:Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:Degree educated (or equivalent), MBA beneficial1-2 years’ experience in a project coordination, analyst or junior project management role (internships or graduate schemes considered)Ability to translate strategic goals into practical execution plansStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levelsHighly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in parallelBasic understanding of project management methodologies – e.g. SAFe-Agile, Waterfall; and a willingness to learn moreFamiliarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, JIRA) desirableJob Specific Skills:Strong diplomatic and negotiation skills in multi stakeholder environmentsContinuous improvement – fostering a culture of persistent Continuous Improvement across all aspects of the business to drive increased productivity, efficiency and qualityDesired Attributes:Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learnStrong sense of ownership, accountability and reliabilityStrategic thinker with a pragmatic mindsetCollaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamCurious and adaptable – able to thrive in a fast-moving environmentLocation Requirement:Based out of Lucy Group, Oxford HQ with some travel to main Lucy Control sitesDoes this sound interesting?
