Project Engineer - Data Modeller - -27.21/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 6 Months (potential to extend covering maternity leave)

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer - Data Modeller to work with our premium automotive brand on a contract basis. This role involves working at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and data management to ensure accurate and efficient feature configuration data processing.

Responsibilities

• Interpret directional inputs from multiple sources, including Engineering and Marketing, and transform them into actionable data.
• Execute core data modelling activities, converting directional data into feature configuration data within the corporate system.
• Ensure the accuracy of outputs through rigorous quality validation processes.
• Identify, develop, and implement technical and business process improvements within the team and the broader department.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and marketing functions to understand requirements and translate them into feature coding logic.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in data modelling and quality validation processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and process complex data inputs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in a related field.

Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret directional inputs.
• Perform data modelling activities to ensure accurate feature configuration data is available for downstream systems and processes.
• Conduct quality checks to maintain 100% accuracy in outputs.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable data.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance technical and business processes.
