Waterlooville, Hampshire - Permanent, Full-Time - Hybrid (office and site)
-50,000-60,000 (depending on experience) + performance bonus

The role
We''re looking for a Technical Sales & Project Engineer to own our larger and specialist projects, typically -30k-500k in value, from first survey to final handover. You''ll go out alongside the sales team to meet clients and survey sites, turn what you find into a detailed scope and quotation, and once the work is secured plan and manage delivery, including the specialist subcontractors. Projects range from gas works and boiler replacements to large pump upgrades, AHU refurbishments and one-off specialist schemes.
What you''ll be doing
Attend site visits and client meetings alongside the sales team, bringing the technical depth to understand the problem and shape the right solution.
Survey and scope projects in detail gas and boiler works, large pump upgrades, AHU refurbishments and upgrades, and specialist projects.
Build accurate, well-presented quotations for the sales team, gathering supplier and subcontractor prices and pricing labour, plant and risk properly.
Once a project is secured, plan and manage it end to end: programme, procurement, RAMS, permits and client communication.
Appoint, coordinate and manage specialist subcontractors on site, holding them to the agreed standard of quality, safety and programme.
Control cost and variations against the quoted budget, and hand over with complete commissioning and O&M documentation.
About you
Proven M&E project delivery experience, including managing subcontractors on live commercial sites.
Estimating experience confident turning a site survey into an accurate, priced scope.
A technical background in gas, heating or HVAC (Gas Safe registration or equivalent HVAC experience).
A current SMSTS or SSSTS certificate.
Commercially aware and credible in front of clients comfortable discussing scope, value and price alongside the sales team.
Organised and self-directed, able to run several quotes and live projects at the same time.
A full UK driving licence and happy to travel across London and the South of England.
