Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a growing engineering business delivering complex, bespoke projects for customers across the world.
As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key technical role throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with Project Managers, Design Engineers and customers to ensure engineering solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently and on schedule.
The successful Project Engineer will take ownership of technical design activities, coordinate engineering deliverables and ensure designs meet customer requirements, contractual specifications and industry standards. You'll also provide technical guidance to engineers, support design reviews and work closely with manufacturing, procurement and suppliers to ensure projects progress smoothly.
This Project Engineer position combines hands-on engineering with project coordination, giving you the opportunity to influence technical decisions while developing your leadership skills within an experienced engineering team.
The successful Project Engineer will enjoy working within a collaborative environment where innovation, quality and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything the business delivers.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Design Engineer.
- Strong 3D CAD experience using Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault.
- Experience within heavy engineering, fabrication, process equipment or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently whilst mentoring junior engineers.
